Mahbubeh Moqadam

MahbubehM

Hello!  I'm Mahbubeh, currently in my exciting third year in the program. My academic journey revolves around global and transnational sociology, social movements, queer studies, and diving deep into Middle Eastern studies. Alongside my main courses, I'm always on the lookout for related resources on our vibrant campus. When the books are closed, you can find me enjoying a run, embracing the tranquility of yoga, hiking to discover new spots, or simply grooving to my favorite tunes. Being an international student, I can offer insights into that unique experience, but I'm also here to chat about anything department-related or the beautiful Urbana-Champaign area. If there's something outside my purview, I have a great network of colleagues and friends on campus who can share their wisdom. Feel like chatting? Please don’t hesitate to reach out! moqadam2@illinois.edu
